The Pillar Mountains consist of multiple pillars rather than actual mountains. Since the different pillars all have a certain height, there are different plateaus the player can walk over, connected either by bridges or stairs edged into the stone There are some lakes and trees, but the general environment consists of grassland. Some adventurers have even found treasures in these mountains, but don't be fooled. The mountains are dangerous to new adventurers, and should be travelled with caution, as more than monsters prey on inexperienced travellers.
This is the first area with enemies, as well as the first boss. However, this doesn't mean there is no incentive to return to this area. It might not be for the enemies, but various quests require the player to go to Startington, and on top of that the player can place the Teleport Plate in the upper mountains. Later, the player has to get the Royal Honey here as preparation for the Festival.
